It was one of those days yesterday. For various reasons we had only 13 players at practice yesterday. I decided to let them have a little fun and play some 6 on 6 football. We cut down the boundaries of the field and essentially played arena football without the arena. It was a good opportunity for the coaches to see what some of the players can do in open field situations.

Defensively, John Gillespie made 3 or 4 nice hits and had a couple good pass breakups. Newcomer Cody Buchenroth showed some potential in the defensive backfield. Brandon Smith and Daniel Slone made a couple of nice open field tackles.

Offensively, RJ Lasoya and Tyler Ray did a nice job of catching the football.
